A new study says marijuana is growing in acceptance for its use to alleviate pain from illness, says UPI. More than 60% of people who use medical marijuana want to relieve chronic pain. This is according to a study conducted by the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center. One of the study’s researchers said that chronic pain “affects an estimated 100 million Americans.” Overall, 33 states and the District of Columbia allow the use of medical cannabis.
