Legislation could allow residents to grow recreational pot at home in WA

Legislation that would allow residents of Washington State to grow their own recreational marijuana received a hearing last week in Olympia.

The bill allows adults over the age of 21 to grow up to six pot plants for a single home and up to 15 plants for multi-adult units. The law would require growers to post personal identifiable information at the grow site. Representative Brian Blake of Aberdeen authored HB 1131.
